ViaEurope is an e-logistics company born and raised in Amsterdam. Although we have been in the business of technology and logistics for five years already, the company still operates and grows with a start-up mindset. Technology is at the very core of ViaEurope’s strategy and is also behind our connected warehouses or e-HUBs which are located at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Liege Airport in Belgium, Budapest in Hungary , and Frankfurt in Germany.

Within ViaEurope, our Operations Team is considered to be the heart of the organization. We a great pride we ensuring that our customers get the best value from our tech solutions by training and consulting with them during the entire logistic cycle. With the right people, we will expand our team even further as we scale up our business.


The Global Support Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day customer success so that all their logistics inquiries are quickly solved. In this role, you are expected to understand each customer's overall business requirements as well as our business so that you can select your actions and take the right actions. 


As teamwork is in our DNA, your daily work is never lonely! You will partner with other ViaEurope departments on requests that address customer needs, customs inquiries, technology utilization, and improving departmental efficiencies to help meet company goals. Accurate communication and speed but without compromising on quality will make you an excellent team member.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and efficient support service to internal and external contacts
  • Answer customer inquiries about logistics matters (e.g.: shipments, returns, etc.)
  • Ensure that all your customer inquiries are recorded correctly in our system
  • Keep track of shipment deliveries
  • Handle shipping documents and liaise with customs and third-party shipping companies
  • Establish and maintain overall positive business and customer relationships

Job requirements

  • Minimum of MBO 4 or similar
  • At least 2 years of work experience in logistics support or any other support teams
  • Ability to work with a lot of information from different sources
  • Attention to the quality of service and details – we need to serve multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Affinity to technology and logistics
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written (Dutch, a little French or Mandarin is a plus)
