ViaEurope means: smart Web-Apps & APIs combined with real warehouses, clearing thousands of parcels each day, bringing products from all over the world to Europe!
Our finance department is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dedicated finance team to work with us together to scale up our business. We take care of the administration of all our Dutch entities, as well as of our subsidiaries in Belgium, Germany and Hungary. In the next 2 years, we expect the expansion to other European countries. As we just set up our foundations and digitize our work, you will help us to develop and optimize our daily finance administration. You will have an important impact on the way we manage the financial admin work.


For this role, we are looking for someone who is incredibly detail-oriented, has strong time management skills, and possesses effective communication skills. We like to simplify complex issues and work as smartly as possible, therefore an experience in the field (at least 2 years) and your ability to think outside the box will make you an excellent candidate. As teamwork is in our DNA, we love working together and sharing our success and impact. For this role, both Dutch and English are required.


Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for booking all incoming invoices in the system.
  • To check the incoming invoices for correctness in relation to the agreements made with the relevant suppliers.

  • To communicate in the event of deviations with the internally responsible manager and/or the relevant supplier.

  • To be responsible end to end until invoices are correct.

  • To ensure, together with responsible managers, that the contract register is fully up to date.

  • To ensure that the status register is up to date.

  • To support your colleagues in the finance department with other tasks related to creditor administration.

Requirements

  • At least years of work experience with creditors and/or financial administration.
  • MBO work and thinking level focused on the position.
  • Has a good command of the Dutch and English languages in words and writing, you will have to use them both for your daily work. An additional language (German or French) is a great advantage. 
  • Proven experience with Blue10 and NetSuite.
  • Good organization skills, working with a high level of accuracy and paying attention to details.
  • Passionate about what you do with a sense of shared responsibility and a problem-solving attitude. 

Our work culture

We work hybrid, which requires the ability to work from home part of the time. We work together from the office 2-3 times a week, which helps us to learn and solve problems together as well as to be more efficient in our communication.  An ability to work both independently and in a team is necessary.
