E-COMMERCE LOGISTICS PLANNER - Inbound
Join us and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your contributions will shape the future of global e-commerce.
The opportunity:
The Operations team is the driving force behind ViaEurope’s logistics network, ensuring everything runs smoothly across our e-Hubs. As an Inbound Operations Specialist, you will be at the heart of this effort, coordinating the seamless flow of goods through our e-Hubs in Amsterdam, Liège, Milan and Budapest. Our daily mission is to ensure that goods move from their arrival on the airfield to outbound from our e-Hub within 24 hours, maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and precision.
This role is all about keeping things moving: solving problems, managing inbound flows across hubs, working with teams on the ground, and staying ahead of shifting priorities. It’s a hands-on position for people who care about doing the job well. If you’re genuinely curious—eager to understand how things work, learn quickly, and want to be part of a team that gets things done, we’d love to hear from you.
Join us and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your contributions will shape the future of global e-commerce.
You will:
Own end-to-end inbound operations, from data creation to final arrival at the hub, across multiple locations.
Plan inbound capacity by forecasting volume spikes, incoming shipments and aligning schedules to ensure smooth execution across teams.
Maintain a clear overview of daily operations, quickly spotting and addressing obstacles while suggesting improvements for future workflows.
Plan and coordinate truck deliveries from ground handlers, optimizing timing and hub capacity in advance.
Monitor lead times and analyze performance data to identify root causes and drive ongoing operational improvements.
Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure reliable coordination and service continuity.
Resolve client-related issues promptly, escalating when needed to protect operational flow and service quality.
Job requirements
You should have:
You bring strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a fast-paced, international environment. With a positive attitude, you are collegial, precise, and dependable, handling pressure with ease. Additionally, you possess:
Bachelor Degree.
3+ years of work experience, preferably in the logistics field.
Adaptability to new technology and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Effective time management skills to juggle multiple tasks, processes, and procedures while staying focused on meeting deadlines and achieving organizational goals.
Analytical thinking to identify key insights and drive informed decision-making.
Initiative to proactively address challenges and pursue opportunities for improvement.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks and deliverables.
Accountability for your work and its impact on overall operations.
Strong team spirit that fosters collaboration and mutual support within the team.
Excellent communication skills in English, with Dutch being an added advantage.
While this is a full-time role, flexibility is key, as being present at our Amsterdam eHub two days a week is desirable, and availability after standard office hours and on weekends is sometimes necessary.
