ViaEurope is seeking a Logistics Administrative Assistant, to take care of our office work and logistics administration. For this role, we're looking for someone who can be the face of our company to represent us and welcome any arrival of delivery and service. 

As a Logistics Administrative Assistant, you will cover a wide variety of tasks and your day will never be boring. Whereas your main role is to support the office and the logistics team with any administrative work, you will communicate with different stakeholders and all types of people and represent us in any communication, we trust you to deliver the best service. You will report to the Logistics Director and work in a dynamic office, therefore, you may support other management team members. As our reception desk is the face of the company, service attitude, proactivity, and problem-solving skills will help you to be the best candidate for this role. 

Your Work and Responsibilities: 

  • Daily logistics administrative tasks, such as data recording, documents handling, etc. 
  • Providing information to our logistics and Operations team 
  • Handling communication with visitors, service providers, etc. 
  • Ensure that our reception and our office have the necessary resources and are a great place to work, you contribute to a safe work environment with a positive attitude and a good team dynamic. 
  • Communicating daily with international drivers
  • Work Time: the main hours are 8:00-14:00. We are open part-time or full-time. The flexibility to work extra time in our peak season will be an advantage, however, it's mostly a daytime job


Your Experience:

  • Any experience working in a similar role or any role customer service role, communicating with multiple stakeholders and customers
  • Digital orientation: knowledge of Office and comfortable learning new digital tools if needed 
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch or English
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with suppliers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Organization skills and ability to solve problems alone and also to support others
  • Professional attitude and Positive mindset
